Recognition
The work itself,
not the recognition of it.
A note on recognition
What we accept,
and what we decline.
Gatehaus declines pay-to-play awards. We do not participate in “Top 100” lists that solicit submission fees. We do not pursue rankings whose methodology is opaque or whose primary purpose is the sale of award merchandise to recipients. We do not accept advertorial placements that present marketing as editorial recognition. The cybersecurity industry produces a great volume of these and we participate in none of them.
We do accept invitations to contribute to peer-reviewed professional publications, to speak at events organized by professional bodies whose membership and standards we respect, and to serve on advisory or standards-development bodies where our experience is genuinely useful. Where these activities produce public attribution, we will note them on this page.
For now, this page is largely an architectural placeholder. The few acknowledgements we have accepted are best discussed in the first conversation, where their relevance to a prospective engagement can be appropriately framed.
